I live in the San Antonio area and will be attending the Dallas pattern event. Look me up and we can discuss finishing your LA-1. I will be in a white Chevy Silverado crew cab with a capmer shell on it. I will be there on Friday. I will be one fo the "more mature" (LOL) individuals and I will be flying a Shinden or Black Magic V2 and will be with a 13 year old boy flying a Dave Guerin built Temptaion.

I know we are talking about the LA-1 but I saw some info from Geoff about plans for the SL-1. I built and flew an SL-1 about 7 years ago and I have to say it was one of the sweetest flying planes I ever owned. Had a YS 120 in it and I loved the plane. Attached are a couple of photos. One other thing. In looking thru my "inventory" of older pattern planes I have the following kits: Summit 120, Elan, Finesse and Conquest or Challenge VI (the reason for the confusion is that the box with the foam cores has both names on it so I am not sure what it is). I will post a photo of the fuse and see if you guys can identify it. The reason for mentioning these planes is that if someone needs to make molds of the glass, I have the parts available and will provide them as long as we are not violating any infringement laws or we have the permission of the owner of the rights.
