Default RE: Midwest Tri-Squire

ORIGINAL: kamakazi

I wonder why Midwest dont re-issue their Tri Squire. They are still in business I think. It was a faboulous trainer and also a great looking plane when decked out like Ace's Squire.
I wonder why Midwest has almost completely pulled out of the kit business in general, I know there is not high kit demand these days, but when you are a balsa supplier, you would think it would not be a huge step to keep on with kits.

I am finally applying the clear today... If I don't get it done this weekend, it will be put on the shelf for a while. I do custom woodworking for extra hobby cash and have a paid project that will take over the shop for atleast a week or two. Getting the clear done this weekend means that by the time this other project is done, the dope will have had plenty of cure time before final assembly. Hoping to maiden in about 2 weeks.
