Correct on the volts and amps
I can't add a diagram, but it's pretty simple. Connect the red/+ wire from the ESC to the + input of the first motor, then run a wire from the -/negative terminal of that motor to the +/positive terminal of the second motor, then just connect the black/negative wire from the ESC to the -/negative terminal on the second motor. Done
