I'm not sure what is going on but I've been thru two of them now.

I crashed my first one a few weeks back on it's maiden flight. It got maybe 2 feet in the air and snap rolled into the ground. I checked out the radio gear in the plane and could only find a faulty on/off switch, but not sure it was the fault as I had used it a couple of times that day; running the engine and taxing around to check ground handling.

The second was today. I decided to try another as I read such good reports on here about the plane. The second ME did pretty much the same thing; got about six feet in the air and did a snap roll right and into the bushes at the field. The plane is salvagable, only split the nose section open.

It's not like I'm new to the hobby or fun fly planes. I've been flying for over three years now and had a Sig SE. I thought this would be a good replacement for the SE as I lot it while trying to learn flat spins.

I now have two good ME wings and one damaged fuse. You can check the damage of my first ME in my photo gallery; the second isn't as bad. I'll probably fix one of them; but it'll be a back burner thing for later.

Guess I'll have to just get me another SE to have fun with.
