With all of the discussion concerning AMA and new membership, I am curious to know if the AMA is a first pick for those who actually read magazines relative to our hobby. For me, IT IS NOT.
What is it for you?
Please let me know what titles I am missing.
IMO you left out the best of all,
Flying Models, which has been around longer than the 30 years you claim. Of course FM is a magazine for all aeromodeling disciplines and some RC snobs refuse to acknowledge such.
One other magazine, a specialty magazine, that has been around for some time but just recently, last couple years, has become a prime magazine for its subscribers. It is, IMO, really tops and covers the large aircraft spectrum in excellent style. This magazine,
High Flight, is produced by the
International Miniature Aircraft Association, (IMAA) and is available to IMAA members. The only other SIG magazine that even resembles
High Flight is the
Precision Aerobatics Model Pilot's Association's (PAMPA) Stunt News.
