The Hi-tec radios do not always work with the Tamiya stuff. I and others have had issues with that combination. I think the Hi-tec eclipse 7 does work but it is the only one i know of. Stick with the Futaba or GWS FM or AM radios or possibly one of the 2.4 gig stuff.
