You bought the plane, you might as well try to fly it. Just don't expect much from it. And do not judge RC flying on what that plane does, or doesn't do!

You can start with electrics, don't have to go glow. The GWS Slow Stick is a great electric trainer. A lot of people have learned to fly with one. And the RC equipment can be big enough to fit in larger planes later.
