Don't Enya currently makes lapped counter liner/piston assemblies?
I know that they are not 'conversions' but it shows that its commercially possible.
Yes, it has been done before for cox engines and other engines have it too (Irvine, Enya etc), and for sure it is still doable technologically. But I have not seen that kind of proper conversion heads being available for cox engines currently. Material choice is very important I would like to know how they are made before spending any money on it. Heads with plastic gaskets, and a completely flat combustion space, feels like a rather poor effort to me...
