If you have a product like dazzle (which sucks in my opinion) and if you have a usb on your computer (laptop I hope) then you can do it. I have a product from DataVideo that lets me bring in analog video into my computer through firewire. That is the best quality I have found so far. It converts analog video to digital. Otherwise I would use a camcorder out on the field.

G'day Josh ..
I was thinking of doing exactly what you are doing but unlike you i don't have a laptop
Best option for you would be the belkin USB video bus $99.95 right here in Melbourne .
A friend of mine has one for his laptop to download or view video from his camcorder....it works fine.
Where in Melb are you..? here's where you can get it...one of the best prices iv'e found.

Hope it's of some help to you .

thanks mark, good help. I'm from camberwell. If you want a cheap camera, go to ebay.com.au and there is a good store there where you will be able to pick up a 200w wireless camera for around $60AU including postage.

You might be able to get one of those cards for a PC that lets you watch tv http://www.linuxlogin.com/linux/wintv.php And plug into that, only if you're flying near your home.

Gidday fellas, a guy called Clint from thinksecurity sells 200 mw and 800 mw wireless cam set ups. I've got both of em and the 800 has a far better construction, range and image quality. He also sells a cctv card for your pc so you can download all your footage and snaps. You'll need a laptop, vcr or a video camera that has a line in feature so you can record at the field, bring em home and put em on ya pc. Then send em on here so we can have a look. Regards, John.

Gidday again Engwerda, no, the card is only suitable for PC's but a USB video bus and software suitable for your laptop is all that's required for you to fly and record your images at the field in real time. The bus that Mark in aus mentioned would do the job. The 800 mw spy cam has got audio as well and I picked mine up for $110 AU including postage. You'll need to get some 9 volt battery clips as it only comes with 2 x 240 volt main reducers. Regards, John.

I use an Intel usb Pro camera which has aux input (or any other cam with aux input). I dont think are are current production, but might find one for $5-20. I bought mine new 2 years ago for about $25 after rebates. Just connect the receiver to it and your in business. Cheap, easy and no transfer loss.
