Can anyone recommend an aerial video setup?
I've always wanted to record one of my flights but never knew where to start. I've looked online for some options but none of them seem worthwhile or feasible. I just want to record 5-10 minutes of flying; I don't need to view anything real time so I don't need a transmitter from my plane. I just want a small/light camera to mount on my plane (hobbyzone supercub w/ stock 480 motor). Can anyone recommend anything?

CVS videocam is my first thought...
A decent digital camera like nikon 3700 or better..
There is also another option of a USB thumb-drive sized device with built in cmos vid cam and storage. Quality looked pretty good and wow was it small. To bad I can not remember the make and model... Anyone remember????

thank you. I've heard about the CVS videocam but I can only record once on those correct? I read somewhere for a hack for them but I can't find it now. Is it a small camera? I'm looking for something light, somewhat aerodynamic and somewhat easy to mount.

If your looking for something cheap you could try the Aiptek 1.3 SD camera found [link=http://www.aiptek.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=R-PCSD13&Category_Code=PC1&Store_Code=AS]here[/link]
The frame rate is pretty low for video so the movie will be choppy. If you want to take still shots the camera does a pretty good job. If you want to see some still shots I took with this camera go [link=http://gocc3.glenoaks.edu/aug0606/]here[/link]

Check out this camera. I have one and the video is pretty good, plus it weighs only about 3/4 oz. Takes 6 min. of video at 640x480 30 fps or about 10 min. at lower resolution.

Hi My name's Artie & I've just bought a new T-rex 450 SA ARF & I'm intrested in doing decent aerial but there's so many options lest I buy a proffesional setup for thousands of $$$. I started with a setup from micro wireless for $250 but it get's too much static. what's your take on this.
