RE: New Video Camera Plane.....
I receiverd my Future Hobbies 1watt 2.4 transmitters, I believe it is a Lawmate. It also appears the my existing Black Widow AV receiver is not compatible with the new transmitter.
I verify this using a frequency counter. 2410.875 for the older transmitter 2410.112 for the new unit.
So I ordered the receiver from Future Hobbies,

RE: New Video Camera Plane.....
I assume your Tele Sr is electric??
What power system are you using - motor, esc, battery?
I have a Tele Electro - the 6-ft wingspan - electric powered, and also the Tele Sr powered by a G20ei, however there is too much vibration for photo/video. So I'm planning to convert it to electric.
I am using the 2.4 GHz Diversity system from Future Hobbies (1-watt Tx), with 2 8dbi polarized patch antennas for the receiver, and the range is tremendous.

RE: New Video Camera Plane.....
update: I received the receiver, no cables.
My telemaster is a senior with a 8 foot wing. I'm using a super tigre 90 with a 14x8 APC prop. Garmin gps, OSD,, (1) 550 line camera, soon to be 2 cameras
1000 mw 2.4 transmitter with Black widow omini antenna. 2 1800 2 cell lipos in series. flying weight about 10 lbs
On the ground I have a simple 8dB gain antenna on a tripod with a standard receiver, I toying with the idea of recording directly t pc. When I try ti record to my Canon DV camera the input dosen't like to reconginize the signal

RE: New Video Camera Plane.....
Hi,
How did you overcome the 2.4's non-vibe loving attitude?
As far as I know, the 2.4 Tx is extremely sensitive to vibration and basically that is making the use of nitro or gas engines nearly impossible.
Please explain as I am about to make a purchase for the FPV setup, I'd like to be able use my nitro planes.
Cheers,

Isolate your engine and camera with high quality materials. Use conductive tape to wrap te transmitter. Iso mount the transmitter.
