Mini Steath Cam
Hi all
I have been looking at this forum for a while now but this is my first post. So if anyone could advise me on a solution for my problem it would be appreciated.
I have bought a 2.4 ghz AC/DC Mini Stealth Cam (the one with the built in rechargable battery) for my R/C heli.
My problem is that the range is only 100 feet and the reciever has a patch antenna which is not removable.
I would say the tx output is only about 10mw.
Does anyone know how I can get more range out of this camera (say 300 feet plus)
Can the reciever be modified to take a high gain antenna?
The tx antenna is a little screw in one about 2 inches long.
Any help would be appreciated.
By the way this site rocks.

Thanks for the reply. I will give that a go.
If I still have problems I may have to look for a cheap receiver so I can change the antenna.
