Default A really slow plane ?

I am working on installing my video camera in my cessna 177 cardinal.
But i think it flies a bit fast.
I would love to have a really slow plane with a wingspan around 6-7 feet.
That can lift about 3-4 pounds of camera equipment.
How would such a wing look.
Does anyone have plans or suggestions for models?

Senior Kadet, Senior Telemaster.
Both are widely used for this task.

the sig kadet senior ARF is the best choice in my opinion

the new ARF is a little bit larger than the kit version, and has ailerons

In my opinion, the best platform for a camera is a Paraplane. Most of them will fly 10 - 15 MPH. The have a large lifting capacity. All that I have seen have pusher props, leaving the frontal area completely open. The are extremely stable when set up properly. The easiest way to avoid a crash with expensive camera equipment on board is to cut the throttle and simple let it settle to the ground.

The big Senior Kadet would be great.

And if you don't mind the curved tip shapes then any of the 6foot'ish old timers would be a great camera model as well. Or I suppose you could cheat and just leave off the curved tips and add a rib or two to square them off to the same span. The highly cambered airfoils and long tails used in most of the old designs are great for slow flying.

as you can see in my previous post, I also strongly recomanded the big kadet senior.

my only restriction is that the very big one (with ailerons) is only available in ARF, so If you like to build you won't be happy, and also that the stock landing gear is a little bit weak in my opinion either without any payload on board, but it can easily be reinforced or replaced

the suggestion of lightfoot is also brilliant if you like those kink of flying objects
