Pusher Turbulence Experience

My Feedback: (5)
Has anyone had any experience with a propeller driven pusher and the turbulence from the prop against the empennage? I have one under construction. Right now, it is designed to have the horizontal stab where the ruler is. I can change that to a stab that is on the outside of the booms. What do you think? By the way, that's a 50cc Brison 3.2 engine I'll be using. Dan.

No experience here, just a link to something similar that works:

Your idea would remove the structural bridge that the horizontal tail provides for both booms.

It does make the plane more responsive to pitch input, but you have to consider that you will still need to have sufficient control when deadstick and without the prop-wash assistance.
Have fun with it.

To start these funny airplanes I designed them big enough for an electric starter to fit! The Curtiss Pusher has a main wing span of 48" and it flies on an OS26fs. That is 96"+ of wingspan! Can you say most RC models are overpowered? I do! It flies 'on the wing'. Dead stick landings are not desirable due to drag. Thanks for the compliments but these airplanes are not as difficult to build as imagined. They just look complicated.
