Default How much Right Trust

Guys I need an estimate of how much right thrust is needed for mu Pawnee I am building. The plans do not mention it. I am using a 30 cc Homelite with a 16X10 prop. I was going to try 2 degrees for a starting point. All suggestions will be appreciated.

That's probably about right. YOu can adjust after flight tests. There's no real way to estimate it before flight other than to compare it to similar designs.

Thanks for the response. I will set 2 degrees and give it a try. The plans show 0 degrees down thrust only and no mention of right trust. Wing insidense calls for + 2 1/2 and stab is +1 1/2.

Well, if your wing is +2.5, and your stab is +1.5, with the engine at 0, then you can also say that your engine has 1.5 of downthrust, the wing has +1, and the stab is at 0. Which sounds pretty normal.
