No question just a comment. I have just watched Matt Chapman do a airshow on tape. As near as I could tell he had the throttle wide open during every maneuver including the spin, which was a very low angle of attack and rapid. More like a continuous snap roll down than a spin where you trade altitude for energy in the spin. It was a really fun series of maneuvers to watch. One maneuver had the velocity vector out the wing tip with a nice down elevator tumbling action. Don't know the maneuver but it sure looked like it would be a workout.

A snap roll is a spin along a horizontal axis - engine provides the power normally supplied by gravity...
