Default Cougar 2000 wing tips!

Smashed my cougar into a thousand pieces yesterday after the wind cuaght me whilst tail touching ! I have started to build a new fus, but the wing is ok apart from tips! I am forever building wing tips from smashing them whilst doing touch and go's etc. What would the plane be like if i left them off! Would it be ok?

The roll rate will be quicker but how else will it effect the plane.

Thanks Rob

Having sudied the Cougar, it looks that leaving the tips off wouldn't have any significant difference, only possibly to reduce the turning efficiency. However, as you say the wing remained intact I would guess that they are sacrificial, so the tips break not the wing. You could try replacing them with carved foam blocks instead as the foam still has some 'give'in it.
Tom.
