I have just purchased a Cap21. I have read all the negatives about it's snap roll tendencies and was wondering if programming in flaperons would help this models slow speed capabilities?
Thanks

The root of the problem (IMO) is the Cap's highly tapered wing. Flaperons won't change this. You will find in other threads that the Cap can snap at any speed with sudden FULL elevator input. Many problems occur with turns from base to final, where we get too slow. One wing is low, the plane begins to wallow, significant up-elevator is fed in resulting in a tip stall and death plunge. My advice (FWIW) is to be carefull with CG and maintain additional speed upon approach even if it means using more runway. Good Luck!

I flew a Sig Cap for several years without any evidence of tip
stalliing. I believe that the difference was that the plane was
very light for its wing area, ie, wing loading.
