Default Airfoil coordinates P-51D

Does anyone have the airfoil coordinates for the North American P-51D?

I need such for root, tip and the angle point in the wing.

The ones I got several years ago seem to come up with a lump near the nose, and cannot locate such at Selig A/F site.

Just send me a PM, OK.

WS....

Yes. Have been there. Read above note. The Selig airfoils are but one, not the changing style as mentioned in publications, and tha particular one needed is not shown at the site either.

I was right. Profili 2 has what it says is the P51D root and tip airfoils in it's database. You can download it from www.profili2.com . Basics are free so you can print the files to paper or save a DXF file for cad work.

The root says it's like 17% thick though. Is that right? Seems far too thick to me.

Be warned though that these are very extreme laminar flow airfoils that won't work well at all on a model.

Bruce....

Profli is a big place to visit. You have a hint as to where I ought to look?

I was thinking just download and install the whole program so you can print or 'dxf the files. It's under the Downloads section...

From waht is exclaimed on the Profli site, the airfoils to which I need information one, are somewhere within an 18 meg down load. I need just the coordinates, not the programming.
