Hi
This is my first post on this forum. I have purchased a Hangar 9 Miss America P-51. After joining the wing halves I realized I forgot to check the dihedral. The manual says the wing tip should be 6.25" high My wing ended up at 7.25". Is this additional dihedral going to create a problem wit h the flight characterisitics ? or degrade the performance ?
Thank You
Marcus

Probably no problem. Any more than that would have. Dihedral causes an aircraft to try and right itself from a bank and too much causes the ailerons to become mushy but adding one more inch should not have much effect. It might look a little funny, however. Sawing the wing in half would be a problem because you'd have to dig out the old spar and that would be messy.
