As I was saying earlier, on larger planes it is much more effective than smaller planes. Likewise on larger surfaces it is more effective. Also the farther away from the hinge line the better too..as is your system.
Let me know how it performs.
By the way I checked out your web site listed. You got some very interesting stuuf there I like the fiber optic cables. As J.O. noted these have been in industry for years. I use them all the time just like wire in our machine control sensors. I'm about ready to start another large war bird so I'll be interested in using some of these. RC has needed this for a long time.

As for the Fiber Optics, I developed these about 15 years ago for a specific project using model radio system on a grand scale, but that's another story.
I doubled the sales every year since I resorected this project about 3 years ago, but you must understand that people are funny, they continuously oppose change. And these extensions are not only an evolution of standard extensions, but rather a radical departure. So they resist. But that's OK, I use them and now a lot of people with the gas engines are starting to enjoy there benefits, also the Jet comunity are starting to find out about these.
Everything you saw on my web site, are things are developed for my use and only after I was completely pleased and figured some other people might like it that I offer it.

Here is the rudder/boost tab installed.
The Boost Tab push rod is .080" aluminum threaded 2*56 at both ends and using nylon 1/2A clevises and control horn, to keep the weith down. Don't forget these tiny conrol system is only controling very small control surfaces, smaller then a lot of 1/2A aircrafts.

BTW this is very cool. I will have to do this on my next big airplane.

I make my own threaded aluminum rods, that is thread at both ends.
