Default wing tips on waco taperwing

could someone tell me if the wing tips being flat on this waco will affect its flying?
I bought this from a club member already covered and finished it but the wing tips keep buging me.will redo before contest time comes but would like to fly it to see if its going to be a good sunday flyer.

Affect flying? No. I understand your concern though. It is a good looking job of a very nice aircraft. One bit was just not done quite right. It shouldn't be too hard the strip back the tips and put a proper taper to it.

Have fun.

It will effect the wingtip vortices from the original design. Nothing to worry about, as the waco flies slow and not much reasearch was done on it when the waco was made.
