Default Modifying wings of Super Skybolt

I'm building a GP Super Skybolt 60 and thinking of not tapering the tips of the wings (per plans) to help with knife edge performance. I've already enlarged the rudder by squaring off the bottom.
I usually don't modify proven kits, but have read numerous posts on this plane which some say it has a tendency to want to roll out of knife edge.
Will squaring off the wing tips, without clipping the wings help the roll coupling effect?
Also would it also help to reduce the dihedral in the bottom wing?
Specs:
Top wing -1 degree incidence with no dihedral
Bottom wing 0 incidence with 2 degrees dihedral
Stab +1 1/2 degrees incidence.
Overall weight 9-10 1/2 lbs
engine being used: OS 1.08
wing area 930 square inches
top wing 57 1/4" span
bottom wing 55" span

Thanks
Tom
