I think gliders have spoilers on top of the wing (near the center of lift) where they cause airflow seperation from the wing. This would be in addition to ailerons. Has any one tried to use "crow"? I think this is where spoilerons or flaperons are mixed with elevator to act as a speed brake.

opjose. Do the spoilerons really work for you? I plan on playing with these functions on a Shrike 40 I'm building.

Opjose, if that is what works on your planes great. The only way to find out what works is to go out and experiment. I had a Morris Hobbies Balsa Nova 4 or 5 years ago and had spoilerons programed in, Forgot to move the switch to deactivate the spoilerons, went to take off and could not get it off the ground no matter how fast I run it down the runway DA!!! ,then Remembered I had left the spoilerons activated, neutralized them and up. up and away!!!
