Default ELEVON ISSUE....

Hi,

I have a RICCS RTF Mirage 2000. While putting it together I noticed upward Elevon travel differs on each wing (left up elevon travel is greater than right up elevon travel). Can you please tell me how to correct this issue and balance out the travel. Note: elevons are in balance at neutral stick and both horn/clevis adjustments are identical.

Thanks,
Ken

If they are mechanically identical, it's a radio issue, go to the support forum for your radio. I'm assuming you're using a computer radio, so it is a mixing/differential issue or a bad servo.

And if the servo horns don't point the same at neutral that'd cause issues. And if the pushrods aren't in the same holes. And if the horns aren't placed the same.

All that stuff comes under the term "rigging". So if any of the riggins is different side to side, that could be the answer.
