Wings and verticals....

All flying wings need verticals... runs common knowledge..
I flew this ZAGI™ tonight.. called a Phantasm.. don't know who kitted it.
Mine began life as a electric, with a fuselage and SIG Wonder tail. Miserable failure.
Took out the e-power and threw it off the slope. Not much better.
Took off all the excess not-per-print stuff except the sheeting I'd added at first.. It now looks like the original.
And it FLIES! None of the annoying head-shaking of the typical ZAGI™.
Why is that?

1. For a wing with no vertical tail to go straight the differential drag with yaw has to be high due to planform/airfoil/sweep/whatever - it is a CDbeta term acting through the AC of each wing panel. Low drag airplanes would not have has much directional stability.

Bof'em.
I know I don't have verticals on that one..
I've flown a ZAGI™ Razor with one vertical.. on one tip. Time to try it without either vertical.
Wind willing, more exhaustive tests this afternoon..

Flew the Razor sans right, and then both verticals after flying the Phantasm.
At low speeds, any end/point can be in front! Not a good thing close to the slope. Both planes behave the same without verticals.
Going to try a single central vertical next.
.
Formating with a regular ZAGI™ with the right removed...
