how are you guys getting the 3 degrees right and down thrust in your airplanes??? I have a half-***** method of adding two washers right and two washers down...but I would like to be more exact..how are you guys accomplishing this task?

Hi Jeremy,
Ernst Mfg. makes thrust plates that mount to the firewall behind the engine mount. Very effective.

You can size the shim required to tilt the engine exactly how much you want. For a distance between mounting bolts of W shim thickness/W = .017 per degree of tilt
For example let W= 4". The tilt produced is 1.09 deg per 1/16" washer.
