Help with CG math
Hey guys,
This is more of a mental exercise, but it could save me alot of tinkering in the garage. I have a 5 pound plane that I want to move the CG back. I can move one component that will reduce the moment on the nose by 6 in/oz. another will remove 13.3 in/oz. The question is knowing these moments can I calculate how far each will move the CG rearward? Thanks for your help, Chris |
RE: Help with CG math
Found it:
CG shift = (weight of object moved) * (distance moved) / (total weight) |
