Software for testing
What would be a good computer program for simulating airflow instead of me building a wind tunnel and testing my stuff that way... Or for my seminar of wing tip vortex reduction would I be better off just building/using a wind tunnel?

RE: Software for testing
I'm not sure about a program to purchase, but check out this site. There is a ton of info on it. Maybe even some software.

Javafoil does 2d flow analysis
http://www.mh-aerotools.de/airfoils/javafoil.htm For vortex stuff, you'll need 3d and it gets expensive http://www.hanleyinnovations.com/multisurface/ |
RE: Software for testing
I can apply for a grant to pay for it though...the school might just buy it.
