hi all,
to my sadness, i crashed one of my favorite planes yesterday during a maneuver. it is the 60-90 Extra 260. had lots of fun with this plane. it broke the nose up pretty good and i wont be repairing it. anyhow, i have parts available should anyone be interested. a new, never used cowling, 3 left wings and 1 right wing, 2 new landing gear and wheel pants, new tail wheel assembly and new main wheels. i haven't decided on prices for these but we can work that out. and of course, i will ship if you don't mind picking up the cost for that. i really don't to trash all these parts if someone can use them
thanks for considering..

dbeeler,Okay, I found the post you referred to. I'm not sure if the cowling and wheel pants will work on mine. What are the dimensions of the cowling - front to rear? How long are the wheel pants? Can you send me photo of each?

wheel pants are approx 8" long. cowling appears to be approx 7 3/4 long. of course, the colors will be different than yours. i also have a brand new left wing which may work as well. i also have a left and a right wing that are used with minor blemishes.

Thanks for the dimensions and photos. I wanted the Extra 260 but they were out and didn't know when they would be available. They lied to me, I think, because only a few weeks after I got my Extra 300, Aeroworks shut down. That's why I'm looking to stockpile a few key parts.
Mine is the Extra 300 with a slightly longer fuselage But my guess is that the cowls and wheel pants will fit. Not sure about the wings though. I'll take some measurements tomorrow, and then follow up with you.
How much do you want for the cowl and wheel pants?
Thanks,
Mike

It's been while since any activity on this thread. My 260 and orange 300 are still flying. I found another orange 300 as well as a Yak 54, but I'm always looking for parts as these were really good flying planes. It's a shame that Aeroworks suddenly dumped and left everyone hanging.
