Default 29% AW Katana loose stab tube

I have a 29% AW Katana with a loose horizontal stab tube. The plane is a few years old but only has 20-ish flights on it. The aluminum tube is loose in the fiberglass socket. End of tube has 1/4" play causing trim problems. Anyone know the fix? I have thought about wrapping the tube with some kind of tape but I think that will make a mess. Thanks.

I have wrapped loose wing tubes with masking tape in order to tighten them up. I am sure that it depends how loose the tube is, but if a single wrap of masking tape will fix it, that will work fine. Just make sure to cover the entire tube as you wrap it; just like spiral wrap.
