Rocco, thats a good looking Cub. You should sell a bunch of them. I looked at the specs and didn't see a measurement for the distance from the firewall to the front of the cowl. Could you please post that for me?  I have an OS 320 FF that I think would fly it just fine as I'm not looking for 3D performance. Also, will you offer it in the bones almost ready to cover? I like to do my own thing on the covering.
Thanks,  Mark

Mark,

Thank you for your comments. We are also very excited about this new model!

The distance from the front of the firewall to the front of the cowl is 7 3/4â€

We don’t plan on getting any in ARC but if you want an ARC version I can special order it for you. The models are in production at this time so I will need your order ASAP.

Please contact us @303-371-4222 to place your ARC pre order

Thank You
Rocco

Aeroworks has or own OEM factory and all of our planes and accessories are manufactured at our factory.

What troubles is Hanger nine having with their floats? It would be great to get feed back so when we design our floats we are certain not to make the same mistakes

Thank You
Rocco

Here I go again, now I have to buy yet another Cub. I am looking forward to when I can get my hands on one. Hopefully it won't be too hard to get this here in Canada.

Rocco,
The first offering from Hangar 9 was weak and just the water forces broke the bottoms of the floats after a couple flights. My set was returned for a full and cheerful refund. Six months or so down the road, they had a new offering at $50.00 more that is beefed up and seems to be doing fine. Their design is also fine and works perfect for me on my Sig Rascal 110.  Buy a set and have a good look at them. Then if you can, design a better set for less money.

I must admit that I was abit taken back when I saw the price for this but after looking
at the cub, I think it is very nice...

I really like the provisions for the can install...!!

If you ever go to a scale meet, and listen to all those G-62 running all day long!!! AHHHHH

I love the way the engine sound after they have a decent muffler sysem on it...

WAY TO GO GUYS!!! (my ears and everyone elses thank you!)

I saw the Free Shipping on the website but I didn't know you were offering this plane at $795.00 if Pre-ordered. That makes the price a little better. I like the red and white with a DLE 55.

Rocco,

Is the lower part of the landiing gear funtional as far as one part sliding into the other like a hydralic cylinder or is it all solid with one end tuned down smaller than the other end?

Rocco,

Thanks for the info dude. Wish they were coming in sooner. Do you think this plane can handle a lot bigger gasser so you could hang it on the prop??? What size gasser do you think it would require?

We used a DA50 and it provided plenty of power. If you are looking for extreme power I would recommend a 55cc or 65cc but the engine may not fit in the cowl as nice. Maybe DA will come out with a 60CC? We can only hope!

Thank You
Rocco

I am going with the DLE-55 in mine same size as the DA-50 and should have plenty of power and being the same size will fit, I am going with the Can Setup on mine for that Clean Look! and will be a tad bit quieter.

THe Revolution 52 is a great engine to run ....
I would go with that, as it it quite powerfull and it has a longer prop shaft so the engine can sit closer to the firewall.
It also has a rear exhuast, which makes pipes easier to route..
