These planes were made in Italy by Arc Models before Thunder Tiger took over the company. I have the Beaver. I also have their Cessna Cardinal 177 and their Ready mk3 Trainer. They are all good flying planes and all uniquely made from abs plastic. The only problem i ever had with any of them was that i had to replace the engine firewall on the Cessna 177 with a good thick plywood firewall. This had to be done because the vibration of the two stroke engine an OS 61fx cracked it from top to bottom so was not safe to fly. A very good friend of mine who has been building model aircraft since 1978 took on the job of repairing the plane and it was not easy to say the least as the firewall was a very unusual shape and he had to make numerous efforts at trying to make the new plywood firewall fit into the nose of the Cessna. Eventually he got their in the end and using high grade aerospace epoxy he succeeded and the plane has now a super strong engine firewall which should last for a very long time or at least for the lifespan of the plane. I didnt bother using the two stroke again, instead i have a Saito 72 powering the aircraft. On the Ready Mk3 Trainer i have it flying with a Saito 62 and on the Beaver i also have a Saito 62 flying it as well. Three very good planes that have since been discontinued, but who knows they maybe one day into the future make a comeback and reappear on the shelves of our local model stores.
