Well, actually my book say the picture is of the 1001 Taon, the 1100 was basically the same aiframe without area rule and two engines vs the 1001's single engine. The two planse look so similar that I'm hard pressed to positivly identify he one in the picture.

...outstanding!
Although broadly based on the Br 1001 Taon, the Br 1100 single-seat ground attack and tactical light fighter preceded the former into the air.
The Br 1100 first flew on 31st march 1957
It's a nice looking airplane![8D]

Identify it? I've never seen any thing that wierd. Looks like someone over pressurized a SPAD, only problem is the wings are wrong.
You win on this one Macx!

Designed by Capt B L Smith of the US Marine Corps as a two-seat patrol fighter floatplane for use in the Dunkirk – Calais area, the HA – known unofficially as the ‘Dunkirk Fighter’ – was intended to combat the Brandenburg float fighters and was built at the experimental plant of the Curtiss Engineering Corporation. Of conventional wooden construction with fabric skinning, the HA was powered by a 425 hp Liberty 12 engine featured in an unusually rotund fuselage. Proposed armament comprised two synchronised 0.3 in (7.62mm) Marlin machine guns and two Lewis guns of the same calibre on a Scarff mounting in the rear cockpit. The HA was flown for the first time on 21 March 1918, but was found to be unstable longitudinally and seriously tail heavy. The initial test resulted in a crash. Curtiss was then awarded a contract for two further prototypes , the first of which, HA-1, utilised salvaged parts from the original HA and featured revised vertical tail surfaces, an annular-type radiator and relocated wings. The HA-1 demonstrated appreciably improved handing, but was written off after a fire in the air. The third prototype, the HA-2, differed appreciably from the HA-1 ( see image below).
The data for the HA-1 float fighter is as follows;
Max. speed 126 mph.
Time to 9000 ft = 10 minutes.
Empty weight = 2449 lbs.
Loaded weight = 3602 lbs.
Length = 30 ft 9 in.
Height = 10 ft 7 in.
Wing area = 387 sq ft.
It's so ugly it's attractive![8D]

Gentlemen,
In fairness this is a real toughy so it's been a good effort from you!
Answer...
Aerocentre NC 1080 (France)
The prototype was flown on 29 July 1949 but further modifications where immediately found necessary to the spoilers and tail surfaces. Servo controls were fitted in February- March 1950. The aircraft was destroyed in an accident in April 1950, the cause never being identified.
