John did you ever build it? I'm in the process of building 2 versions of this very plane in 1/5th scale.

Wow did this post take me back. I had to re-read the thread to the beginning to figure out what you were talking about.
Bill Robison and I had a great conversation.

No I did not build it. My company started sending me out of town. In the last two years I've burned two gallons of fuel! I'm the secretary of my club and it got so bad some of the newer members were asking who I was. I still think it is a very cool airplane. I have hopes that I'll be able to stay in town this summer. Wish me luck.

Well for your information there is already 2 sets of plans for this aircraft available one has 84 1/2 wingspan and the other one is 110" wingspan. There are even a couple kit cutters that are cutting from these plans. I bought both sets of plans and I have decided to build the 1/5th scale plane with the 84" wing. If your interested I can even tell you what you need to correct, both designs have the same mistake. I have been trading emails with several owners of this plane so I know it pretty good. If you're interested in corrisponding my email address is [email protected].
