Yak-54 - Russian Thunder - Eric Beard
I've been planning to post this bit of video of Eric Beard performing in his Yak-54 last September at the Hillsboro (OR) Airshow for all the Yak lovers out there, but now that I've finally gotten around to it, for those of you that haven't heard, Eric was killed on Friday 1/6/06. He crashed in fog while on final to Skagit Regional Airport near Burlington, Washington flying cargo in a Piper Seneca.
So here's the video, now posted in memory of Eric.

Oh no!!! I saw him last year at a neat little mid week airshow last August.
My son flies cargo too, and he said it was a miserable week..lots of severe icing and fog on the coast and a long ways inland...
