SWEET!!!! A Pietenpol! This is one of my favorite planes!!!!!! COOL BUILD!! I am also currently in the process of finishing my Pitts S-1C. I have a work log here ( http://slick.grizzlyworks.com/pittslog.html ). Awesome plane, keep us updated!!!

My Feedback: (1)
I see your allot further alone than I am!
I am going to use a Subaru EA81 1.8Ltr flat 4cyl for power. It is bullet proof and I trust it as much or more than "certified engines". I would fly with an A65 any day, but between an A65 and a Subie, subie all the way.
More progress: More sheeting and cross struts done on the fuse as well as starting on the seats. The cowl also came.

Looks great so far. Have you sat in it yet?
Subaru is a great engine, a friend of mine had one in his RAF gyroplane, he loved it.

I asked because I didn't sit in mine until I was too far along to change anything.
I built a Thorp T-211, when the fuse was just about finished, I found my head hit the canopy. I had to remove my seats and cut them down.
