Default Identify?

I saw this plane at the Dallesport, Washington airport on September 9, 2000. No "N" number showing. Anybody know who owns it, history of plane?

Chuck.

I think it is the Sukhoi SU-29 (two seat version of the SU-26). The model designation would be visible just below the canopy but the resolution of that picture is not quite good enough when enlarged.

I was thinking SU-26 because of the somewhat lower position of the wing compared to SU-54, but I think you're right about it being the SU-29. SU-26 looks like the 1-seat version.

Thanks for the response.

There's a SU-29 up in Oregon at Hammerhead Aerobatics that looks a lot like the one in your picture. Owned by Renny Price. Tail number is N699SU.

Thanks for the reply! Sure looks like the same plane. Being from Oregon, that's probably it.
