Ther is one flying out of Chester county airport in P.A. I think it is a Mark 19 model. It has a five blade prop. Plane just finished a two year rebuild in England. Was brought over in a shipping container and reasembled last year and test flown in late December08. The guy that bought the plane also has two p51. Dave

yeah if you could that would be great, the only reason i cant go to air shows is because my girlfriends agrophobic and scared of going out of the house and also scared of being left on her own so i choose not to go to them, when i start to go flying this year i will have to take her and my daughter to her mums while i go flying the rc stuff. the main details i need are in the rear of the cockpit and then general photos of pannals with hatches and so forth in, 3 view drawings show them but it dosnt show how they sit on the plane or weather the hatchs are recessed into the pannal to make it smooth and it sdosnt show details of the fastners used to hold the pannals up, same with hinges theres never any close up photos of them either,
. il go take a look at that site as i do love my spitfires too

Man, I was way off, I wonder what I was thinking. There was a crash in Great falls a few years ago and they did an article on it that it was the last flyable one. Thought it was that one.
