There have been no announcements regarding bringing telemetry to Airtronics' air radios thus far, Viktor D. The new SD-10GS and the upcoming Aquila 6 are both expected to arrive without any telemetry support.

Not much of a change. My SD-10G will be 5 years old next summer(2014) . I usually wait that long before replacing with a serious, meaningful upgrade. We were" promised" with a 14 channel(?) down the road ; shortly after the SD-10G came out.
For the record, mine has given me very good. Before I switched over (after many years with Futaba), I was concerned with precisely what appears to be happening with Airtronics- slow product evolution.
Sanwa is plenty big enough to upgrade more often.
When I see what Futaba, JR and Spectrum are doing ... geez.

Actually, if you guys would look at the Sanwa pages, we wouldn't have to read remarks like yours.

I would like to have the telemetry . 20+ years ago I started with airtronics and tried to stay, had the 600 and 660 radios, but only 6ch and they were always
behind the porwer curve. Went back about 5 yrs ago with the 8000. I love the SD10 g and have 2 of them, one for my son. But when we get to showing who's is biggest at the field (radio)
I always want that telemetry. Are we ever going to see aAirtronics radio with it.
I feel like I can whine a bit since I am family.
