Default power line insulators in model

As known to all, the power line insulators play a vital role in transmitting power.
Without them, we could easily get an electric shock.
I have been designing a model assembled with the power line insulators, and get to know if I can replace with other items to work as insulating?
And I tried several times before, yet still have not found out viable solutions as well as searching forums.

Default RE: power line insulators in model

What has this got to do with Airtronics radios? Or any thing related to RC.
