Default Something Different!

Jim Rice, the AMA Vice President for AMA District VIII has some cool information posted on the D-VIII website. The list of New Year's resolutions are excellent advice for all model aircraft folks. I certainly can take a few corrections from these.

Take a look.

There is certainly nothing on the list that can't be done. Item 12 will be the toughest for me. Makme wish that I liked ARFs more.

John
in the spirit of good sportsmanship and positive attitudes for all,
did you know AMA member insurance covers modeling of planes, cars, boats, and rockets... we are open to all of our modeling brethrenses

A rc truck family could get a good deal with a $29PPP and a couple of $1Yute ama memberships,

and there are ama charter clubs out there that welcome those other modeling disciplines with good sportsmanship and positive attitudes for all.

Keep in mind that if you are actually racing cars, trucks, boats, etc., in some sort of sanctioned races there might be a group that does sanctions for that where they require membership in their group.

For instance. I do some boat racing and despite having AMA membership and insurance I still have to belong to NAMBA to race boats. I am not sure if there is a similar group for RC trucks. Cars have ROAR, but I am not sure if that includes trucks or not.

And BTW KE, youth membership, which is what I think you were referring to, is now free (without a magazine).
