Well I guess it does pay to email them. It took a little while, but he said he is aware of the bill and is against anything that would put a burden on or restrict model aviation. you should ask if they are protecting all modeling or just CBO modeling

I am pleased to let you know that the final FAA bill excludes model airplanes from new FAA regulations. I supported this provision, which passed the Senate unanimously.
