Hey folks, I really need some help. I am not going to be able to go to SWAC because I need to spend some time with my family before some surgery that is coming up in the middle of this election mess. Between that and the fact that the ballots should be in everyone's hands early this week since they began the mail out process Monday the 15th, the time for action is NOW.

I would like everyone from District VIII to share with their friends the status of the various candidates for the AMA VP slot, including (as Sandy Frank says in letters to club officers) "the write in candidate". I would like everyone's write in vote, but I will be happy with the simple involvement of the members in the District.

There are enough informative threads on RCU for everyone to get all the information if they want it, so please just inform folks of my actions, my last name and AMA number to be written in as an additional candidate to the three shown on the ballot if they so desire. Please share with them your opinions and the facts that made your mind up.
