Default The Face Of The AMA

Two years ago some of the local guys enjoyed a trip to Perry Georgia. Crazy swap meet with some fun people. The AMA had a booth set up and one of the folks working the booth was our AMA President. We all enjoyed talking with Bob. He and I had a good conversation about just things in general. Another gentleman at the show was District IV VP Bliss Teague. I enjoyed talking with Bliss and the AMA employees. The moral of the story? These people are people and I do think they are doing the best they can for us. They are people like other people and sometime we are a bit hard on them. For me and our little gang we are going back to Perry this year. If you are there I would love to see you. I will be easy to spot. Old guy with thinning hair and a slow walk. Also love flying models and talk a lot about them. Wait a second that sounds like 85% of the folks that will attend including the guys that represent the AMA.
See you there.
Almost forgot, our gang will also be easy to find. They know everything about everything. Shoot, there I go again. That describes about 99% of the folks attending.

Stop by again this year. Kris Dixon the new District V VP and Eric Williams from District II will be there, and I'm sure Bob will probably be back down.

I also heard that the AMA simulator trailer will be there as well.

I spent several hours with Bliss and his lovely wife a couple years ago at Nall. Really enjoyed spending time and talking to him, he's quite the well spoken gentleman.
