plentiful back in the 1962 plus some period when I was an USAF Instructor in T-33 and T-38. In all out VFR work, teaching students how to escape and evade them was a lot of the practice. That stuff is long gone, yet there is still a bunch of other stuff going on there. About 3 years ago I was invited to get into a group that did a LOT of low level flying (???) in and out of south TX and northern Mexico. I said "No, Thanks!!!" In addition I stayed away from asking about their cargo.
IMO, any form of Drone work, not in full radar control, is simply a mid-air waiting to happen.

While the text states that there is a considerable amount of open land, country, or such BS to that effect, there is much activity in that area. Private airplanes were

I live about 15 or so miles from a small public airport and my sky seems full of typical private aircraft. They fly over all the time, I think there are a couple of flying schools operating out of the airport.

I am going on actual numbers of flying planes. I believe passenger miles are up due to the fast flying jets. But small single engine and possible twin engine are way down. I doubt you would notice much difference near a flight school, but I do not see near as many private prop planes over my house as I did. And most of my friends who used to fly GA as well as myself no longer do so. To expensive, too troublesome, and almost too dangerous.

It would seem a waste. But I see now it is not an Intruder. They are mid wing and that is shoulder wing. Other than that it does look a lot like the old Intruder pattern plane.
