That is cool.....why back in those days AMA's purpose was very clear.....I wonder what those events were anyway.....

Actually that was well before AMA... I think AMA came about 2 decades later.

I wish there was some old pictures and video that could be seen. What an era of experiancing the freedoms any type of flight must have been... If we could just turn back the clock...I would be happy just flying rubber powered free flight models. BTW have done that too and it was very enjoyable... I guess I am a true fog now...lol
