Hi,I have a quick question about AMA dues. I renewed my 2024 AMA membership on may 14, 2024 —shouldn’t that mean it stays active until midnight on may 13, 2025? That’s how my auto, homeowners, and motorcycle insurance policies work, so I’m wondering why AMA would be different.

How is it different? Since I am a really old timer with the AMA, I'm still on the Jan 1 to Dec 31 cycle. I couldn't find anything about the dues period on the AMA site (figures!). So if you enrolled on 5/14/24, when does your card say it expires? Have you contacted AMA to ask?

Your card has an expiration date printed on it but yes, you get a full year from the renewal date.
