Today I received a credit card offer in the mail. The name on the envelope was our clubs current Secretary the address was mine, I was last years Club Secretary. The only origanization that would have these two pieces of info is the AMA and they still screwed it up. Kind of makes AMA look guilty of selling their membership list.

The affinity card offer you received was something that we had approved ahead of time, we, being the members.
The AMA gets a kick back from the credit card company and this goes into our general fund and sometimes reaches $50,000.00 a year.
Personally, I think it is a wonderful idea and support it completely.

The card was a Chase Visa sponsored by the American Kennel Club, I don't see where the tie to the AMA is. Personally I get enough crap mail I don't need the AMA helping me get more.
