Default Marc? Really, our Marc?

Just got the March issue of MA today, and what do I find on page 154 but Marc Vigod's picture. On the District II report page.

Seems he was instructing/introducing kids to R/C.

Keep it up, Marc. A good thing to do.

Bill.

Hey Bill,

Maybe this pic will change your opinion of me then.

Vic:

WOW! And they are all yours?

Haw.

But change my opinion of you? No. You have never given any reason to think poorly of you. Your posts are well above the average here, both in being helpful and in being informative, if you can separate the two.

You did see a bit of red at my teasing once, but I thought I had made it plain that it was purely teasing. I know I apologized for it.

I'll close with the same thing I said to Marc: "Keep it up, Vic. A good thing to do."

Bill.

The guy in the batman suit is mine and the yellow Super Stunts is his. It was a great afternoon, his teacher gave me the whole afternoon to talk about models and full scale airplanes topped off with Spencer giving them a demo in the football field and a gift of gliders donated by Airborne Hobbies.

We went out last night where he got more stick time on the Corsair than I did.

OK Bill that seals it I am over it. Thanks

Vic:

I used to live in Moyock, and commute to Norfolk. If you are working at NASA you have a whale of a lot worse commute from Valdese to Langley. Or is Valdese just your weekend address?

Bill,

Thanks

was that a pic of me helping a youngster on a trainer box? each year our club does an open house and lets kids fly the airplanes to see what it is like to command the sticks. I know I was on the buddy box helping out that day although I'll get on the box and help out anytime for anyone as long as their plane checks out and is safe to fly.

I'm looking forward to the new issue.

The kids are the future of the hobby and some of them I find are VERY fast learners in this video game age. Makes it easy for me on the buddy box..I just watch them fly 90% of the time! They all remind me of ME at that age except they learn it 10x faster it seems.

Here's a crop of the picture.

Caption: "Marc Vigod gives some instruction to a potential new modeler. The look on the young boy's face is priceless. That's Marc's son Austin in the middle watching."
